Professor Standstill

NRK has created a photo report based on my still standing project that I carried out last year. It’s a bit comical that they’ve called me “Professor Stillstand”. When I defended my PhD in 2008, I was actually named Dr Air Guitar. The concept was to stand still every day, for ten minutes, around midday. I recorded motion data using my mobile phone hanging around my neck and heart rate data from my sports watch. Remix Norwegian mountains

NRK (the Norwegian national broadcaster) has decided to release a HD recording of the entire “Bergensbanen” trip they broadcast last month: Friday November 27th over 1,2 million Norwegians watched parts of “Bergensbanen” on NRK2. The longest documentary ever? At least the longest we have made, almost 7 1/2 hours, showing every minute of the scenic train ride between Bergen on the Norwegian west coast, crossing the mountains to the capital of Oslo. ...
